Hello and happy new year. Just throwing it out there, what is a good shooting glove for fanning.

Happy New Year Hebert. I use a thin black police type glove when triple shot fanning my open top 51 navy (because my hand is exposed to the cylinder gap) or sometimes doing single stroke fans when it's cold. For the most part any glove impedes the flexibility I need in my hand to do good fast triple shots. That's why I usually use some band aids on thumb and pinky finger. Bob Munden used to use a heavy leather glove to do his double shot balloon trick because he hit the hammer really hard. I've seen other people just use a basic leather glove for fanning.

I use a fairly heavy top grain leather work glove. As tight of a fit as possible. I didn't trust the thin police style glove with percussion caps..
